For passionate people, not website designers
MyWebTone is for passionate people who are brilliant at what they do but do not want to become website designers themselves or technically challenged.

I’ll build your website, and take care of the technicality so you don’t have to.

Start here →What different people need from a website
No two of these businesses work the same way. Here is what usually matters most for each, so you can see what can be included and what your own website might need before we ever speak.
People finding you often arrive feeling uncertain, curious or vulnerable, sometimes late at night on a phone. What they need first is reassurance: who you are, what actually happens in a reading, sitting or healing session, how long it takes and what it costs. A calm home page, a clear “what to expect” page and honest pricing do more for you than any clever design.
Practically, most spiritual businesses need somewhere to list demonstrations and circles, a way to take enquiries without giving out a personal phone number, and space for testimonials where people have given permission. If you teach as well as work one to one, keeping those two sides clearly separated stops visitors getting lost.
Trust is the whole job here. Visitors want to know your training, how you work, whether you are taking new clients, and what the first session involves before they commit. Being clear about your experience, qualifications where relevant, how you work and what clients can expect helps build that confidence.
The features that earn their keep are a treatment or service page that explains each offering in plain English, transparent pricing or a fee range, and a simple way to book or enquire. Online booking suits practices with steady availability; a short enquiry form suits anyone who prefers to speak first. Either way, one obvious next step on every page matters more than adding more pages.
Your work has to lead. That means large, fast-loading images, generous space around them and as little furniture on the page as possible. Grouping work into collections or series helps visitors browse rather than scroll endlessly.
Beyond the gallery, decide early what you want a visitor to do: commission you, buy a piece, visit an exhibition or simply remember you. Commissions need a short explanation of process and price ranges. Selling needs either full payments or a straightforward enquiry route. Exhibitions need dates and venues that are easy to update. A mailing list can also be useful, giving people a way to hear about new work, exhibitions or commissions without relying entirely on social media.
Two very different audiences visit an author or speaker website: readers, and the organisers who book you. Serving both well usually means a warm home page for readers and a clearly signposted page for organisers with topics, formats, audience size and how to enquire.
Readers want the books, where to buy them, and a way to hear about the next one, so a mailing list matters. Organisers want proof you are safe to book: past events, a short biography they can copy, and a photograph they can use. Adding a simple events list keeps the site current, which also gives search engines a reason to look again.
Everything here turns on one question: can I picture myself there, and can I book. Visitors need dates, location, what is included, what is not, prices, and the cancellation position, all findable without scrolling through paragraphs of atmosphere.
Photographs of the actual place matter enormously, as do practical details such as accommodation, travel and accessibility. A short questions and answers section removes most of the emails you would otherwise answer one at a time.
If a retreat, course or event sells in a burst, a single focused landing page can often be simpler for visitors than adding another section to a larger website, which is why the Event and Course Landing Page exists as a separate service.
Many purpose-led businesses do several things at once: treatments, workshops, products and perhaps a bit of teaching. The risk is a website that lists everything and explains nothing. The fix is to lead with whatever you most want more of, and give the rest a clear, calmer place further down.
Local visibility is often worth more than national reach, so your town or region should appear naturally in your wording, along with opening times and a map if you have premises. If you sell products as well as time, be honest at the start about whether you want to run an online shop, because that changes what your website needs to do.
